News:  Annual - SCHOLARSHIP
The M.P.H.A., on an annual basis,provides a non-refundable scholarship in the amount of $500.00 to a member who has been in good standing for at least 2 consecutive years prior to the year of application or an immediate dependent of a member so qualified. An individual shall qualify for receipt of Scholarship funding one time only.

Applications in the form of a letter requesting financial support should be received by the office of the M.P.H.A. no later than May 31 in each year for the academic year starting in September of the same year.

Each application should be accompanied by a letter providing an indication of the applicant's name,extra curricular and public service pursuits, as well as any other information which would assist the Board of Directors in their selection

The Board of Directors shall consider all applications at its June meeting, and following established criteria arrive at a selection decision. All applicants will be informed of the status of their applications no later than the 15th of June of that year.

News:  Beginning January 7, 2003 - New Library Announcement
The MPHA is pleased to announce that a small but growing collection of library materials (books and videos) will be available for loan to members of the Association. The collection will reside at Firing Line Gun Club, 439 Turrene Street. Beginning January 7, 2003   access to the collection will be available on Tuesday evenings between 6-8 pm. Be sure to bring your current MPHA membership card as identification to exercise borrowing privileges. Contact Stefan, the MPHA Librarian, at 885-6374 between the hours of 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday for more details.
