Manitoba Provincial Handgun Association

An Overview of What We Do:

In partnership with Sport Manitoba, the MPHA is the coordinating body which represents the four approved disciplines of handgun shooting in Manitoba. In April of each year, members at large come together to elect a President and a Board of Directors. The President and Directors are all volunteers who bring experience (management, coaching, officiating) at the Provincial, discipline and club levels. Their main function is to oversee the distribution of funds to responsibly and effectively promote the handgun sport throughout the Province. The Board is committed to the development of programs to support our established Mission and Values.

Each Discipline is represented on the Board by their appointed representative. Discipline Representatives play an important role in the liaison between the Association and the grass root, recreation and elite shooters in their respective Disciplines.

By virtue of membership, Club and independent members enjoy affordable and reliable liability insurance and access to Association sponsored programs.
